Lucca Elegance

Lucca Elegance, the show–market of art, antique trade and decoration, is back at Real Collegio of Lucca from May 14th to 16th. On show ancient and contemporary art objects, handicraft, tradition and advanced technology.

The main event is the exhibition “Thayaht e M.me Vionnet. Tra sperimentazione ed alta moda”, a presentation of the models created for the French House Madame Vionnet by Thayat, pseudonym of Ernesto Michahelles. Thayat was an eclectic  Tuscan artist, inspired by Futurism. He invented the overall, the nowadays universally known work suit. The exhibition has been realized in collaboration with Galleria d’Arte Bacci di Capaci of Lucca.
