I Concerti di Pieve a Elici held in the Church of San Pantaleone a Pieve, is surely one of the most interesting cultural events that Versilia has to offer during the summer. The concert season, organised by the Associazione Musicale Lucchese together with the local administration, offers concerts performed by internationally renowned artists. However, the programme for the recitals is in not the only notable feature of this event. Infact, the concerts take place inside the romanic parish church of San Pantaleone which is an extremely interesting construction from an architectural point of view as well as being gifted with perfect acustics. The history of this event, born in 1967, has been confirmed as being a very important cultural activity in the Lucchesia.
