Un pop di bellezza: Adami, Del Pezzo, Pozzati, Tadini

The inauguration of the exhibition “Un pop di bellezza” will be held on July 4th, bringing together four of Italy’s most important post-war painters: Adami (Bologna, 1935), Del Pezzo (Naples, 1933), Pozzati (Padova, 1935) and Tadini (Milan, 1927 – 2002)
These artists can be considered as among the main exponents of Italian Pop Art, which developed in the early sixties with particular fervour in certain Italian cities including Milan and Bologna, in connection with the similar international experiences that surfaced at the end of the fifties, above all in Britain and the USA.
The architect Michelangelo Chiti has designed and created an exhibition space that can be considered a work of art itself and interacts with the various pieces by the seven artists on show: Giovanni Balderi, Roberto Barberi, Emanuele Giannelli, Renzo Maggi, Mog, Alessandra Politi Pagnoni and Silvia Vendramel.
