“I colori dell’ironia” - Omaggio a Eugenio Pieraccini / "I colori dell'ironia" - Eugenio Pieraccini

To mark the thirtieth anniversary of his death, the Forte dei Marmi Council Department for the Arts pays tribute to the artist Eugenio Pieraccini with the exhibition “I colori dell’ironia”, open every day from the 3rd to 31st of July, 2010 at the Fortino in Forte dei Marmi.

Eugenio Pieraccini was born in Viareggio on July 29th, 1922. First gallery owner in Versilia to exhibit work by the then unknown artists Giuseppe Migneco and Salvatore Fiume.
Organizer of the “Lorenzo Viani” Art Award, in 1952, in Lido di Camaiore, and in 1962, creator of the Marguttiana in Forte dei Marmi.
Illustrator of a number of book and disc covers. Eugenio Pieraccini’s intense artistic career came to and an end with his death in August of 1980, in Pietrasanta.
