Christien Sielcken – Movimenti in equilibrio

From August 14th till September 5th the exhibition “Movimenti in equilibrio” of the dutch sculptor Christien Sielcken is open at the Scuderie Granducali of Palazzo Mediceo in Seravezza.
After graduating at Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam Sielcken moved to Pietrasanta, where she lives and works. She creates monumental marble sculptures. She loves working the stone with the hands, because she needs a direct relationship with the material she uses.
