Eppe De Hann – La forza dei sogni

Eppe De Hann - La forza dei sogni

From September 11 to October 10, 2010, the exhibition “La forza dei sogni” (The strength of dreams) by Eppe De Hann will be on show at the Sala Grasce in the Sant’Agostino complex.
There are small and medium, marble and bronze sculptures on show, most of which are recent, but there are also a number of older works that retrace the artistic career of De Hann.
The exhibition is organised by the Pietrasanta Town Council Office for the Arts and sponsored by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Rome.

Short biography

Eppe De Hann was born in 1949 in Arnehem, Holland. He studied at the Royal Academy of the Hague between 1969 and 1974; and in 1978 he received the Renswoud award for young artists. De Hann’s career was linked from the start to painting, to which he dedicated himself with great fervour up until 1992, holding numerous one-man exhibitions and participating in many group shows. In the early 90’s he went on to discover sculpture in Pietrasanta (LU). His works are found in public and private collections around Europe.
