“Bellezza e Mondi divers” (Beauty and Different worlds) is the title of the one-man exhibition by Carlo Carli, with free admission from 27 November till 12 December at the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca. In 25 works the artist portrays the beauty expressed by women of different cultures: from the woman imprisoned by burqa and niqab, fighting for her rights, to the woman sacrificing her beauty in advertising.
