From 5 December 2010 to 16 January 2011 the exhibition “Il meraviglioso mondo del talento” by José and Miriam Escofet will be on show at Villa Bertelli in Forte dei Marmi.
With around 140 of their works, this is the first Italian exhibition dedicated to the two artists (father and daughter) who live and work in London.
Most of the works in this, their first joint exhibition are by José Escofet: drawings, pastels and paintings from the fifties, more recent floral compositions for which he is better known, and some of his latest creations that portray a new journey towards the fantastical.
Miriam Escofet exhibits a selection of her works: architectural compositions, landscapes, portraits and an imaginary still-life.
