“Lucca in musica – The romantic idea of genius” – Conference: La musica dei popoli senzaterra

From March to May 2001, Associazione Musicale Lucchese and Teatro del Giglio present “Lucca in musica”, the music festival dedicated to romantic composers and musician, with a special focus on Franz Liszt.
The festival also presents a serie of conferences and films on Romanticism, with music experts like Giovanni Bietti and Jeffrey Swann and famous movies like “Death in Venice” and “Ludwig” by Luchino Visconti (the cinema review is curated by Cineforum Ezechiele).
