Presentation of the book by Emilio Ravel “L’uomo che inventò se stesso”

Thursday 16 December at 5.30 pm at the Agorà auditorium in Lucca (piazza dei Servi) – free admission – Emilio Ravel presents his book “L’UOMO CHE INVENTÒ SE STESSO” (La Lepre editions)  dedicated to Giacomo Casanova.
Seducer and impertinent libertine, spy, braggart, dissolute gambler, Freemason, magician, adventurer, philosopher, refined and encyclopaedic writer… Who is the real Giacomo Casanova? Emilio Ravel depicts a previously unseen and striking portrait of the Venetian gentleman taking inspiration from the monumental “Memorie”. Chaired by the journalist Mario Bernardi Guardi.
