From August 4 to September 4 Fortino of Forte dei Marmi hosts the exhibition”qualcosa accade” (something happens) by Vittorio Corsini, curated by Enrico Mttei.
Corsini has created for this occasion a site-specific work that ideally links the piazza Garibaldi to the exhibition inside the Fortino.
On show installations and sculptures from the last 10 years, realized with heterogeneous materials, such as glass, wood and steel.
The works tackle great topics : medicine, landscape, social relations and the relationship between human beings and their home.
The exhibition has been organized by Assessorato alla Cultura of the Town Council of Forte dei Marmi and Gallery Claudio Poleschi Arte Contemporanea from Lucca.
Vittorio Corsini (Cecina -Livorno, 1956) lives and works betwen Florence and Milan.
