Anna Paola Pizzocaro – Preghiere non risposte

Anna Paola Pizzocaro tells us, with her incredible images, a tale that is a dreamlike journey through reality and fantasy. A tiny human figure awakens and , through a mirror, sees violent floods in her house, as a kind of great flood that pours on the Earth as a demonstration of God’s fury unleashed by human wickedness.
In this parallel universe a man and a woman are involved in a “Journey-flood” where seea lions, flamingos, monkeys, pandas, polar bears and many other species are afraid to look around, immersed in a real world that increasingly flooded by a virtual one.
By a parallelism with the Ark of Noah, the house becomes the ark, a metaphor of the real world, in which is contained the world life. In the dream, the only one able to be saved is the human “the only animal that can adapt and survive in the world he creates”, says the artist.
