The evocative ambience of the hotel Sirio, former home of Galileo Chini, is hosting an exhibition of recent paintings by the artist Annamaria Buonamici.
The painter, native from Lucca, has a large exhibition curriculum, with numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Her paintings are made with a personal technique, by which the artist paints on the back of transparent fiberglass plates with oil paint. Her creative universe is focused on the observation of the natural landscape: through continuous overlapping games and contrast effects, the artist represents nature with striking color combinations in an attempt to capture its very essence.
ARTinCLUB The initiative, now in its fourth edition, was created with the intention of offering the public a cultural proposal that combines contemporary art with the refined atmosphere of the Art Nouveau villa, renovated returned to its original including numerous works by Chini, painter and ceramist who had it built.
