An opportunity for the "in-definition" of the genre, with concerts, meetings, installations, workshops, exhibitions, performances, children's theater and residences all focused on individuality in the report and / or in conflict with the general and more specifically with lack of causality and coincidence between biological sex, gender (masculinity and femininity) and sexual orientation.
The thematic programming, held in the halls of the Tenuta dello Scompiglio, also welcomes the winning projects of the international ban of 2015 addressed to all artists in every variation of the arts and continues until June 2017.
The area Exhibition hall will host some installations and exhibitions dedicated to the exploration of topics concerning gender identity.
Round Midnight / portraits is an adaptation and development of one of the videos presented originally in the homonymous performance by film director and artist Cecilia Bertoni, presented by the Compagnia Dello Scompiglio in 2016.
In the video we see the portraits of the five performers. They appear at first just wake up, without filters or masks, still in a state of unconsciousness with respect to the duty to present to the world. Subsequently, whitened by their marks, emerging rigged according to representations of the male and female conventions, while at the end of the narrative themselves choose a make-up that does not cover them or make them presentable, but that tells more about who they really are, beyond the dichotomy.
Sobre la sangre – by Teresa Margolles

Teresa Margolles is an visual artist born in Mexico who examines the social reasons and consecuences of death, distruption and civil war. The artist is famous for having created artworks treating on the topics of violence, gender, powerty and alienation. This exhibition in particular concentrates on the theme of gender hate.
