In front of the fireplace, in the fortress of the medieval castle of Montecarlo, the ancient recipe of chestnut flour necci it is handed down according to tradition from Montecarlo. Necci and cottage cheese, and bruschetta frugiate accompany a tasting of local wines in collaboration with FISAR Montecarlo.

At the end of the workshop children and adults can visit the picturesque fortress of Montecarlo and its museum, to know the history of this ancient fortress and the medieval village.
The registration fee includes:
– Entrance to the fortress of Montecarlo.
– Guided tour of 40 minutes accompanied by the owners, residents in the castle.
– Workshop for adults and children on the realization of the traditional necci of chestnut flour, the workshop takes place in the main tower of the fortress, around the large fireplace.
– Snack of necci, frugiate (chestnuts roasted on the fire), bruschetta with new oil.
– Tasting of three or more local wines accompanied by sommelier FISAR.
