Bertil Vallien – The talent of glass

ixty works in glass by the Swedish sculptor Bertil Vallien are on show at Palazzo Guinigi, from 21 April to 18 August.

This ancient art meets the modernity of the lines of enquiry of the most famous Swedish artist and glass designer (also creator of a particular glass printing technique), in an unprecedented encounter.

The artist’s interest in man’s relationship with the environment, history and time find their ideal expression in this exhibition, forming a bond between the backdrop of this prestigious historical building and the inspirational works that Vallien created during his career at the Swedish studios in Kosta Boda.

The exhibition is open every day from 10.00 to 20.00.
