“BEYOND THE WALLS. Maria Stuarda Varetti. History, painting and imagination”

To mark the 500th anniversary of the Town Walls of Lucca, Lu.C.C.A presents the exhibition “Beyond the walls – History, painting and imagination” by Maria Stuarda Varetti.

This artist, born and raised in Lucca, exhibits a series of works that portray The Walls in an unusual way, in celebration of this historical monument that never ceases to fascinate tourists and locals alike.

It will be possible to visit the exhibition, curated by Maurizio Vanni, from 10 September to 27 October at the Lucca Centre of Contemporary Art. Admission free.
