DI MERCOLEDI' – Il Grande Buio

Villa Argentina, Viareggio's Art Nouveau jewel, hosts every Wednesday afternoon a meeting between writers and readers. The event is promoted by 'Comitato per la valorizzazione di Villa Argentina' and is assisted by the 'Bookshop Lungomare' of Viareggio. To all participants will be offered an aperitif.

 

Paolo Annale, Jury Member of the "Prato Città Aperta" literatura and journalism awardintroduces "Il Grande Buio" by Marco Cardelli (L'Erudita Editore – Roma. Readings by Marco Di Stefano.The author will be present the author.
Rocco Di Maggio, a former policeman who ekes out a living as a private investigator, is urgently summoned by the wife of a wealthy notary.  Di Maggio will be involved in a story of prostitution, ambivalent clubs, spoiled descendants of high society, unscrupulous financiers and complacent women, ending up in a mysterious clan called the "Il Grande Buio".

 

Marco Cardelli was born in Lucca. After the art studies, he specialized in photography and moved to Milan, where he began a career as a fashion photographer, and later to the United States, where he studied screenwriting and film directing at the New York Film Academy. "Il Grande Buio" is his first novel.
