Villa Argentina, Viareggio's Art Nouveau jewel, hosts every Wednesday afternoon a meeting between writers and readers. The event is promoted by the 'Villa Argentina' Promotion Committee in collaboration with the 'Viareggio Lungomare Bookstore'. At the end, an aperitif will be offered to the participants.
In today's meeting the book "L'ultimo Re dell'Olio" by Silvana Bertolli" (La Caravella Editrice). A trip to discover the history of the Bertolli dynasty since the foundation of the bank and the company of the famous Bertolli brand: the origins and the story of this very important family from Lucca, from its rise to the slow, but inexorable fall. The narration ends with the death of the last "olive oil king".
Silvana Bertolli, Ferruccio Daniele Bertolli's daughter, graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Pisa. She currently lives in Lombardy where she has been a teacher. "L'Ultimo re dell'olio" is her first book. The author will be present.
