D'OGNI VOSTRA VOCE. Music and poetry to be born again and not to forget

On August 12, 1944, the small village of Sant'Anna di Stazzema, in the province Lucca, was the scene of one of the most heinous massacres committed by the Nazi-fascists in Italy during the occupation. 560 unarmed people, mostly women, seniors and children were massacred by the murderous rage of the SS and also the organ of the church of the village was destroyed by the blows of grapeshot.

Since 2007, in Sant'Anna is held a cultural and musical festival in memory of the victims of the massacre. This one is in particular an initiative of the citizens of the small martyr village, organized in collaboration with the Association of Friends of the Peace, the National Park of Peace and the Municipality of Stazzema and with the patronage of the municipalities of Versilia

Texts and poetry readings alternate with soundtracks from famous movies that have shown the Holocaust, such as Shindler's List.
Actress Elisabetta Salvatori introduces the show reading some pieces from her work "Scalpiccii sotto i planani".
In a crescendo spectators are led from the DARKNESS with the reading of Luca Lazzareschi of the text "Che grigiore mi penetra" by Giuseppe Cordoni and the prayer in Sant'Anna towards the SHADES AND LIGHTS with readings by Domenico Lombardi and music by Ennio Morricone, to the LIGHT .
