This year, for the entire period of the Christmas holidays, the Tourist Cave Antro del Corchia, the famous karst cave in Alta Versilia, opens its gate again to the event "…and come into a cave …! " a contest between the best Nativity scenes made by students from state schools Alta Versilia and Garfagana, in the scenario as extraordinary as evocative of the famous cave of the Apuan Alps. The work will be exhibited in fact throughout the entire tourist route, which winds for about two kilometers of tunnels and karst conduits. Visitors at the end of excursion, may vote for the works that have preferred, and by doing so they will choose the three winners.
Out of competition, the cribs made by various associations will also be on display.
Every day, except for the dates 12/16 December, the Christmas and New Year, you can take guided tours combined with visits to the Nativity scenes.
Do not miss the suggestive appointment of Eve: On December 24 at 4:00 pm the Holy Mass will be celebrated at the entrance of the cave, accompanied by the Choir of Levigliani.
A free shuttle bus service from Levigliani shuttle bus leaving from the town square, will be open every day from 2:00 pm.
