The initial excavations for the creation of the new hospital in San Filippo have brought to light material of unquestionable historical and archaeological value, from the VIII century B.C. to the Middle and Modern Ages.
These important remains will be displayed in Lucca’s new hospital when it is up and running (end of 2013).
This project is preceded by the Emersions exhibition, on show in the Small Barracks of the Villa Guinigi National Museum.
Free admission.
Admission to the Villa Guinigi Museum will also be free for the duration of the exhibition.
