With the exhibition “L’arco della gravità”, at Villa Bertelli, Giannelli shows 30 years of research. His works, using a wide range of materials, have a classical imprint, use consolidated techniques, and are deeply rooted in history, and yet, that which they express regards futuristic, fantastic and post-atomic themes along the lines of Mad Max or Blade Runner.
The message that emerges is one of alarm, the vision of a near future, as astonishing and exaggerated as it is realistic and credible.
“I Sospesi”, “Haida” and “I Visionari”, along with the other works in the exhibition, can be seen from 21 September (inauguration at 18.00) to 6 January. Free admission.
Hours: every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 15.30 to 19.30.
