The beautiful square of Gave in Limano, a hamlet of the municipality of Bagni di Lucca, boasts a Chapel dedicated to Saint Lucia, a sixteenth cenury stone fountain and five streets that are almost radiated and head to the high and low parts of the village, characterizing Limano.
The dancing party takes place in this pretty square every first day of August since immemorial time. For the occasion, boys and girls of the LImano dance the quadrille called "Secchia Ball" wearing the characteristic traditional costumes.
