The event, which for 48 years is the traditional meeting of September in Montecarlo, represents the season highlight of the cultural tourism of the village of Montecarlo and the hills of Lucca, with a rich program of initiatives to enhance the history, culture and local traditions and to encourage the reception and food and wine, in addition to the typical features of the territory and of the most representative.
From 27 August to 8 September, musical shows and popular exhibitions at, appreciate cultural exhibitions and painting, tasting of wines and local produce and traditional dishes prepared in the food stands in Piazza D'Armi and in Piazza Garibaldi .
Also this year it will be back with the "Lounge of the Wine and the Green", very appreciated in the previous editions, housed in the former garden of the Palace Foundation "Pellegrini-Carmignani", managed by the Nature Center, in collaboration with the City The AIS – Delegation of Lucca, the FISAR – Delegation from Monaco, the Consortium of the DOC wines of Monte Carlo and with the International Association of Manufacturers Green "Moreno Vannucci". Here, every evening, will present the companies, manufacturers, wines paired with local products.
The event will conclude on September 8 with the traditional celebrations in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Relief.
On 13 September, the chef and owner of the restaurant "Forassiepi" in Montecarlo, Antonio Pirozzi, in collaboration with Marco Violins of the restaurant "Osteria del Vento" Montecarlo, will organize a charity dinner to raise funds for the people affected by the earthquake, at the stands of the wine festival in the Yard.
