FESTIVALMARE

The event was created in Forte dei Marmi, just for fun, in summer 1988, although the first significant results are recorded with the 1991 edition, when to the competition were assigned a name, a logo and a trophy. It is in this year that the first radio stations and some small record companies noticed the event.

Grown over the years, the festival reached its peak in 1997 and since then it attracts talented singers, many vip guests and great interest from the media.

 

The contest, is open to all aspiring singers aged 14 to 35 and includes two evenings of selections, on November 19 and 20, and a final evening, on November 26, presented by Loris Marchi and Vittorio Polacci.

Guest stars of this edition will be Ivo Romagnoli, who last year obtained a remarcable personal success, and Alessandro Paci, who many remember for his adventure in "Aria Fresca" with Conti, Panariello and Pieraccioni; the rap duo Repperino and Peg Leg and the very young singer Martina Niccolai.

 

The performance is limited to one piece and is strictly reserved for unpublished songs.

 

At the end of the final evening the XXIX TROPHY "Festivalmare 2016" will be assigned as well as the awards for the second and third place. The winner will receive a scholarship offered by the city of Forte dei Marmi.
