Forte d’inverno

On June 16th the inauguration of the exhibition “Forte d’inverno” will take place at the Fortino in P.zza Garibaldi, Forte dei Marmi.

This exhibtion, which is open until June 30th, is the closing event of the “Forte d’inverno” project. More than 40 young people, resident in Forte dei Marmi, have spent their winter months putting together a photographic reportage on the town. Over 200 photos, selected from the thousands taken, depict the town during  the winter period, when the notable absence of tourists means the local residents re-take possession of its spaces  and locations.

These youngsters were assisted by two professional photographers: Ivo Saglietti (multi-award winning reporter of the prestigious World Press Photo) and Federico Neri (photographer with great authority on Forte dei Marmi and Versilia). The project and the exhibition were organised by the Forte dei Marmi Town Council (youth policy section) and the NordSudOvestEst Association.
