Open doors, free admission and possibility, by reservation, of guided tours for the national day of small museums, at its first edition, Sunday, june 18th, but above all for a welcome gesture that is able to express the culture of the museum and its identity.
In the Province of Lucca participate in this initiative, the Civic Archaeological Museum of Camaiore and The Roman Archaeological Area of Massaciuccoli (Massarosa).
Just to appreciate this day and the welcome dedicated to the visitor, in every small museum, there will be a symbolic gift, not a gadget, but a gift made for the occasion, such as a small envelope with some seed of flowers or ancient plants of the territory, a special event, a publication a story, a gesture that explains the passion that gave life to the museum, and which allows it to open despite the difficulties. The gift wants to point out that in the small museums the first resource is the people, who works, who cares about the collections, who opened the museum, the residents who identify with the museum or who collaborate with us, and especially those who visit it.
