Giuseppe Bergomi – Sculptures

Giuseppe Bergomi - Sculture / Giuseppe Bergomi - Sculptures

The human figure lies at the heart of Giuseppe Bergomi’s artistic quest which, in his both his painting and sculpture, is based on the search for timeless beauty and everyday reality. In this exhibition, curated by Lea Mattarella and Claudio Strinati, this artist from Brescia presents a selection of pieces that retrace his artistic career up to his most recent creations. In the central Cathedral Square and the courtyard of the Church of Saint Agostino there will be three large works on public show for the first time, in inoxidizable and corten steel and bronze.
The event is promoted by Pietrasanta Town Council in collaboration with Italian Factory and sponsored by Terra Moretti.

The exhibition continues inside the Church of Saint Agostino with over 60 small and medium-sized, mostly bronze sculptures, and a number of paintings. Giuseppe Bergomi narrates his present through uniting of the anthological and more contemporary chapters of his artistic career.
