The Province of Lucca has organised a series of guided tours to promote awareness of the Romanesque churches in the Brancoli and Versilia area.
Saturday 4 December – 5 pm
Parish Church of Saint Martino
The earliest official record of the Church of San Martino in La Cappella dates to the end of the 13th century, when it was granted the concession of having a christening font, but it is likely that a religious building had existed in the area since at least the 8th century.
Loc. San Martino alla Cappella – Azzano 55047 SERAVEZZA (LU)
This initiative forms part of the European ITERR-COST project which has the aim of promoting the Romanesque cultural heritage of the northern Tyrrhenian area.
