I Quanti dell’Anima (The Quanta of the Soul) – anthological exhibition dedicated to Francesca Amadeo

The exhibition dedicated to Francesca Amadeo will be on show in the 4 halls of the Villa Paolina Civic Museums from 22 November to 1 December.

I Quanti dell’Anima (The Quanta of the Soul), the exhibition’s title, recalls the philosophical sūtra formula “Form is emptiness, emptiness is form”.

The artist takes us on a journey to record and recount the existence of an invisible world, exploring the complexity and stratification that characterise reality.

It is through plaster casts that Amadeo allows us to see, feel and understand the missing pieces, the reality that is not visible.

In this way, the viewer is prompted towards a clear awareness of how reality can be deceptive and how often nature, treated or denatured, can be as much candidly splendid as frighteningly poisonous.
