I Sargentini. Un bouquet di colori e coriandoli

From April 23 to May 15 Vila Paolina hosts the exhibition “I Sargentini un bouquet di colori e coriandoli” (I Sargentini . A bouquet of colours and confetti), dedicated to Alberto and Ruggero Sargentini, two characters that left their mark on 20th century Viareggio history.
Alberto Sargentini (1898 – 1971) was for many years chairman of Viareggio Carnival, and he ideated the current form of the event. Ruggero (1902 – 1995) was a painter and a friend of Enrico Viani.
On show photos, postcards and posters of the Carnival chaired by Alberto Sargentini and about 70 paintings by Rugero Sargentini. The exhibition is curated by Enrico Dei
