From June 5th to September 26th, takes place in Seravezza the exhibition “Italia sia! Facts of life and arms of the Italian Risorgimento”, dedicated to the Italian Risorgimento. Paintings, witnesses and graphic works narrate the birth of Italian state, with peculiar attention to the Tuscan events.
Work by Odoardo Borrani, Giovanni Fattori, Silvestro Lega, Ferdinando Buonamici, Telemaco Signorini, Amos Cassioli, Pietro Aldi, Arturo Moradei, Ignazio Affanni, Cesare Bartalena, De Micheli, is on show.
A section , almost an exhibition in the exhibition, is dedicated to Giovanni Fattori’s paintings portraying military scenes.
The exhibition, organized by Comune di Seravezza e dalla Fondazione Terre Medicee, has been curated by Enrico Dei with the collaboration of Andrea Baldinotti.
