The Lucca Center of Contemporary Art (Lu.C.C.A), in partnership with Scorpion Bay, the well-known clothing brand, present the exhibition “Journey into the masterpieces of all time. Renato Florindi describes sixteen artists through the eyes of Bandido Escorpión” on occasion of Lucca Comics and Games.
Centred around the idea of travel, which is the theme of this year’s Lucca Comics, the Abruzzo-born graphic artist and illustrator, Renato Florindi, revisits some famous works of art narrating them through the legendary figure from Scorpion Bay: Bandido Escorpión.
The exhibition, curated by Maurizio Vanni, opens Saturday 17 October 2015 at 5.30pm, and runs until the end of of the comic festival Sunday 1 November.
There is also a meeting 30 October with the motocross champion Tony Cairoli, who will perform for the public along with Bandido.
