Julia Landrichter – La Vanità della Materia

From August 14 to September 9 the Lounge and Underground space of the Lucca Center for Contemporary Art host the exhibition “La Vanità della Materia” (The Vanity of Matter) , works by Julia Landrichter.

Landrichter was born in Vienne, Austria, in 1975. In 1998 she moved to Italy, where she graduated in paintings and  in Visual Arts in Florence. Since 2005 she took part to many exhibitons, among which “Rifiuti Preziosi ” at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence in 2006, and the Paintings and Sculpture Biennal of Montone (Perugia) in 2011.

In her compositions she mixes paintings with metal and other material objects.
