From 17 October to 14 February, the exhibition “De Chirico, Savinio e Les Italiens de Paris” will be on show at Lu.C.C.A (Lucca Center of Contemporary Art) Lounge & Underground.
The exhibition presents the work of the 7 artists who, between 1928 and 1933, gave their contribution, in a mutual exchange with Paris and its artists, with the Return to Order movement, that, even if with unusual and range of perspectives depending on the individual painter, promoted the Renaissance elements that gave new impulse to Italian art in the French capital.
The exhibition includes work by Giorgio de Chirico, Alberto Savinio, Massimo Campigli, Filippo De Pisis, René Paresce, Gino Severini and Mario Tozzi, and is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am – 7pm.
