Hotel Villa Ariston opens its doors to the public in order to allow to anyone who wishes to discover one of the most beautiful jewels from the early twentieth century in Versilia.
The initiative, promoted by the Cultural Association Ville Borbone and Historical Houses of Versilia, also involves some students of the secondary school Carlo Piaggia, who will turn for one day into guides and will recount the story and the anecdotes of the villa, accompanying visitors to the park and to the various facilities of Hotel Villa Ariston. A journey back in time to the splendor of Versilia in the early twentieth century.
The villa was the residence of the Rolandi Ricci Family. It originated from the project of the Tuscan architect Gino Coppedé, and was built between 1871 and 1909. Among the most illustrious guests who stayed here we recall Prince Albert of Monaco, Gabriele D'Annunzio, Marlene Dietrich, Eleonora Duse and the great Maestro Giacomo Puccini.
Today the villa is a prestigious four star Park Hotel, equipped with every comfort. Its vast park (22,000 square meters) features swimming pools, tennis courts and a brand new playground.
