On display in the exhibition spaces of the monumental complex of St. Augustine the works by sculptor Rinaldo Bigi, a leading figure in contemporary art who has been working in the town of Pietrasanta. Numerous are his solo and group exhibitions around the world; highly appreciated his works are now part of several public and private collections.
In addition to his valuable sculptures the artist exposes paintings that through the use of different techniques and materials recount a fantastic and at the same time ironic world, expressions that have always been typical of Bigi's style.
The exhibition is promoted by the Municipality of PIetrasanta and by the Versiliana Foundation within the project 'S.T.Art – Grandi Eventi". The opening will take place on Saturday March 19th, at 4.30 pm in the presence of the Mayor, Massimo Mallegni, and of the art critic Philippe Daverio.
