LuBeC “Culture: password for the future”

Meetings, exhibitions, training seminars, previews and international presentations. Once again Lu.Be.C. (Lucca Beni Culturali/Lucca Cultural Heritage) returns 17 – 19 October at the Royal College of Lucca, with a full programme of events with the theme of Cultural Heritage.

By now a regular event, this, the ninth edition of Lu.Be.C, is organized by Promo P.A. Fondation, with funding from the President of the Republic. This year’s title – “LuBeC 2013. CULTURE: password for the future”. Professional roles in the field of cultural heritage – technology – tourism among Public Administration, business, new skills and new work instruments”.

This subject area is particularly relevant to young adults, the hardest hit by recession, but also involves, directly or indirectly, a large part of the wider society.

Actors, academics, entrepreneurs, technicians, operators and associations will intervene, examining a range of subjects, including:

– new financial opportunities for sustaining investment

– creation of the city brand and potential of social networks audiences

– museum management between tradition and innovation

– state of the art and development possibilities of the “Francigena system”

– town accessibility

– training for management and technological innovation in the field of culture

– models for business internationalization

– new volunteering projects realized in line with the Magna Charta project.

As always, the first two days include the meeting and the “Lu.Be.C. Digital Technology” exhibition; an opportunity for the public and private administrations to present the digital and technological innovations in the field of Cultural Heritage and territorial marketing.
