The immense Lucchese organ heritage, more than three hundred instruments , makes Lucca one of the richest cities in the absolute sound of these important monuments . This enormous wealth has long been greatly underestimated and there are many tools that have undergone tampering or who are in desperate conditions of preservation.
In the province of Lucca there are already nearly a dozen restored and efficient. It 'just to finally give voice to these instruments that the Association Domenico di Lorenzo considered a priority, alongside of historical researches, the realization of concerts and tours that would allow the public to regain possession of this important cultural heritage.

h 21.15 – Church of St. Micheletto. Luca Scandali executes pages of Italian authors of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries on Bartolomeo Ravani tool (1660), accompanied by Mauro Occhionero (Renaissance percussion and popular tradition). On this occasion it will be presented the CD "Balli, battles and songs" (Brilliant, 2016), recently created by the two artists Zeffirini organ (1551) of church of St. Stefano.
Sunday, October 9
h 18:00, Church of St. Lorenzo in Farneta. Gabriele Giacomelli will perform music by Italian composers of the seventeenth and nineteenth century organ Odoardo Landucci and children (1867-9) recently restored by Glauco Ghilardi.
Wednesday, October 12
h 21:15, Church of St. Francesco. As per tradition, the season includes an evening dedicated to the screening of a silent film accompanied by the organ improvisation. This year he plans the masterpiece of Sergei Mikhailovich Eisenstein's "Battleship Potemkin" (1925), with Edoardo Bellotti organ and with the historical-critical presentation of Pier Dario Marzi on behalf of the Cineforum "Ezekiel 25:17" collaborating the evening.
Wednesday, October 19
h 21.15 – Pieve di S. Stefano, with the chorus 'Gesualdo Consort of Gesualdo' accompanied by the organist Daniele Boccaccio, who will perform music of Peter Vinci (Spiritual Sonnets, in the double version for choir and organ tablature) and other authors sixteenth and seventeenth centuries on valuable tool Zeffirini Onofrio (1551).
