The Lucca Summer Festival concerts will be held again this July in Piazza Napoleone, in the old town centre of Lucca.
The tradition had modest beginnings in 1998, with just three live performances, and has since grown year by year with the participation of nationally and internationally famous artists, making the festival the most anticipated musical event of the Tuscan summer.
The 2015 edition of the festival is dedicated to the much missed Italian songwriters Mango and Pino Daniele, who passed away between December and January, and hosts a series of unmatched concerts. Billy Idol, Lenny Kravitz, to name but a few, or Elton John and Robbie Williams who have chosen Lucca as the only Italian stop of their respective tours.
