Saturday 19 December 2015, at 5.30pm, “Luoghi Altrove”, the new exhibition by Ivan Theimer, Parisian sculptor and painter originally from Chilli, opens at Villa Argentina.
Press office: The exhibition “Luoghi altrove”, on show in the atmospheric setting of Villa Argentina, Viareggio, presents the watercolours by Theimer marking the journeys (some organised by the FAI) recording the most intimate dimension of an artist which bring together forms, stimuli and atmospheres that nourish his large sculpture and feed sensations and moods of the viewer who finds him/herself in front of landscapes rich with atmosphere, memory, nature, culture and history.
A section of the exhibition is dedicated to the memorial monument of the Declaration of Human and Citizen Rights of 1789 in Champ de Mars, Paris and that now, more than ever, draws everyone’s attention due to its remarkable actuality.
