Inserted in the "Puccini Month 2016" this beautiful exhibition that combines documents and works of art is the brainchild of the Committee Archivio artistico-documentario Gierut in agreement with the Friends of the Puccini Festival and the Puccini Festival Foundation.
The exhibition curated by Lodovico Gierut and Marilena Cheli Tomei includes paintings, drawings, sculptures and photographs of nearly one hundred authors.
The works come mostly from the collection of the Committee Archivio artistico documentario Gierut, others, however, have been specifically designed by other artists invited by Lodovico Gierut, who know and appreciate the Puccini universe.
The works are mainly placed on both easels and other supports; thirty of them are placed in a browsable container, while others are available only in a virtual way, given the extensive media document-catalog visible by the public, which also includes snapshots dedicated to Lake Massaciuccoli, past performances in the Teatro Giacomo Puccini and known characters.
There are reports on the Puccini Festival Foundation, with the presence of logos for free sponsorship organizations and associations such as the Museum Ugo Guidi, the Fenice Association, Association of Neurological Research Arno, START Save Tourisme & Art, Grazia Leoncini Association, Medecins Sans Frontieres, Giardini della Versilia , ConCREDITO, Collettivo37, P.E.R. Fine Arts, Phonegroup, Philatelic Club Giacomo Puccini (…).
The exhibition will be inaugurated on Sunday, November 27th at 3:30 pm.
