Sculptures, bas-reliefs and paintings by the Sicilian artist, narrating the adventures of young Lucius turned into a donkey and his return to human form.
The exhibition is curated by Alessandra Belluomini Pucci, scientific director of the Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery "Lorenzo Viani" in Viareggio.
A whole of thirty works that through a literary classic subject, always dear to man, the "Metamorphoses", suggest a consideration on current issues.
The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog with texts written by the curator on behalf of Fondazione Villa Bertelli.
