“Minima maxima sunt”, the one-man exhibition of work by Valente Taddei, will be on show at the Viani Room of the Congress Centre – Principe di Piemonte, from 9 to 24 November 2013. This initiative forms part of the 30th edition of ‘EuropaCinema’, for which Taddei created the logo and official manifesto.
The exhibition at the Viareggio Versilia Congress Centre features a series of recent paintings in oil and ink; brief narrative-style works, where a minute individual – unmistakable main character of all of Taddei’s work – leads a paradoxical life, suspended in time and undefined spaces. The artist offers a metaphor of human limits, playing down, with subtle irony, the sense of emptiness and mortality that man can feel when faced with his destiny.
Hours:
9 – 20 November, 16.30 – 19.30
21 – 24 November, 10.00 – 23.00.
