“Agorà Celeste” is the exhibition dedicated to Igor Mitoraj, where to admire sculpture, scenography and the memory of the theatre. A new artistic journey connecting the Parco della Musica and the foyer of the Gran Teatro Giacomo Puccini.
Motoraj’s extraordinary panels are part of a display designed to strengthen the international scope of the Puccini Festival.
The completely redesigned foyer also features Sandro Chia’s diptych, a masterpiece that significantly enriches the theater’s artistic offerings and the Festival’s connection with leading contemporary artists. The new exhibition also features works by Ugo Nespolo, Kan Yasuda, and Naal.
Curated by Valeria Pardini, it aims not only to celebrate the great music of Giacomo Puccini, but also to establish the Festival as a reference point for contemporary art, in dialogue with the great masters of sculpture and painting of our time.
The exhibition is open every day from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. More info: www.puccinifestival.it
