The award ceremony for the winners of the National Poetry Prize “Città di Capannori”, now celebrating its eighth year running, will take place Saturday 12 October, at 17.00, at Polo Culturale Artemisia.
The evening will open with a special event dedicated to Carlo Monni, with contributions from Sandro Bartolini, author of the book “Baciami francese. Le avventure del Giovane Carlo Monni” and the musician and theatre critic Igor Vazzaz and scholar Carlo Monni.
This will be followed by the awarding of the poems submitted up to 2 September and appraisals by the panel of judges, consisting of: Luciano Luciani, artistic director, Julio Monteiro Martins president, Laura Di Simo, Maria Sofia Gambaro, Katia Sebastiani, Michele Cecchini and Gianni Quilici.
