Theexibith of Alexander Tofanelli "Nel volo del colore. Il re pescatore" (In the flight of the color. The Fisher King) opens, Saturday, February 4 at 18:00 at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni the bank of Monte Foundation, 2017 exhibition program.
A truly original production, to Tofanelli, collection on display, able to combine painting and passion for creating nature documentaries. Centered on the figure of Kingfisher, "A small bird – explains the painter himself – and great energy, we also spread by us long the banks of waterways able to dominate almost all the elements: flies in the air, it feeds by diving into the water and makes its nest by digging in the ground. " The palace of the exhibition gathered oil paintings and mixed media (1 meter x 1 meter), while completing the works, three screens will project more and documentary images shot by Tofanelli. An exhibition especially suitable for schools, given the high educational value and strong relationship with our territory even under the environment profile.
The exhibition of Alexander Tofanelli highlights the production of an artist who passes nonchalantly from the palette to the camera. His paintings are auctioned at Christie's. In 2006, the movie "Unnatural," which he wrote and directed, was awarded a special jury prize at the festival, and Europacinema Nice Festival of New York, and San Francisco.
In 2012, during the festival Viareggio Europa Cinema, he was awarded the Prize Monicelli. On that occasion he presented the film "No Return", which he wrote and directed.
