Oscar winner Nicola Piovani is the protagonist of the anniversary concert of the Church of San Francesco, in the Lucca old town centre.
Saturday 4 July at 21.00, the composer presents a wide repertoire, including film and theatre soundtracks that retrace his entire career.
He will conduct, playing the piano, the “Concerto in Quintetto”, accompanied by 4 illustrious musicians, making the celebrations for the second year since the reopening of the Church of San Francesco, restored in 2013, unforgettable.
The evening is free admission. Tickets are available, while they last, at the box office of Giglio Theatre from Wednesday 1 to Friday 3 July from 10.30-13.00.
