an educational programme of initiatives to promote respect for the individual:
“This statement could be said to summarise the concept that education regarding respect for the individual should start from an early age.
This is the belief held by the Province of Lucca and all the teachers from local schools who have been collaborating for some time in class discussion on gender respect and the need to combat the stereotypes that entrap both men and women in pre-determined roles. At the conclusion of their studies on the topic of violence against women, or whoever can be considered as “different”, three Upper Secondary Schools share their feelings and reflections in these 6 meetings taking place at Palazzo Ducale between 5 – 23 May.
